10. MAKKAH CLOCK ROYAL TOWER, A FAIRMONT HOTEL, SAUDI ARABIA
Within the Makkah Clock Royal Tower, this Fairmont hotel occupies the 1971ft (601m) building’s 22nd to 60th floors.

9. BURJ AL ARAB, DUBAI, UAE
The flagship of the Jumeirah Hotel Group is housed in its own skyscraper, occupying all 60 floors of the 321 metres (1,053 ft) tall Dubai landmark.

8. 85SKY TOWER HOTEL, KAOHSIUNG, TAIWAN

7. ROSE RAYHAAN BY ROTANA, DUBAI, UAE
In Dubai’s 1092ft (333m) Rose Tower, the Rose Rayhaan hotel extends from the property’s ground floor to its 72nd.

6. MARRIOTT MARQUIS DUBAI, UAE
The world’s tallest hotel, the Marriott Marquis Dubai occupies every level of these two 77-storey, 1165ft (355m) towers.

5. GRAND HYATT SHANGHAI, CHINA
Within Shanghai’s 1381ft (421m) Jin Mao Tower, this Grand Hyatt occupies the building’s 51st to 87th floors.

4. FOUR SEASONS GUANGZHOU, CHINA

3. ST REGIS SHENZHEN, CHINA
This Starwood property occupies floors 75 to 100 of Shenzhen’s 1450ft (442m) KK100 tower.

Surpassing the city’s Grand Hyatt (see number 5), this hotel takes up floors 79 to 93 of the 101-storey, 1614ft (492m) Shanghai World Financial Center.

The 118-storey, 1587ft (484m) International Commerce Centre houses what is the world’s highest hotel: the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong. Set on the skyscraper’s top 17 floors, the property’s crowning feature is its rooftop bar Ozone.
